I’m not really sure where to start trying to tell you about Megan.  Our hopes when Ellie had her first litter were to keep a girl, who was hopefully good enough to show and would fit into our family with a soft and gentle temperament.  Megan was one of four girls and I can honestly say she chose us as her family, she always wanted to be first out to say hello to us and the other dogs, she became friends with Isabelle at a very early age.  So we were delighted when all the people who helped us choose a pup said she was the best - she would have stayed anyway I think we were already smitten with her!

Megan hasn’t disappointed us she has done very well in the show ring in her first year but more importantly she has the most wonderful temperament, so gentle and kind, but mischievous and playful at the same time.  Everyone who meets her falls in love with her, she certainly lives up to her name.  Megan has some naughty habits though, she is conveniently deaf, like her mother, and seems not to know her name at times. She also likes to roll in anything smelly and usually does this a day before a show, after she has been bathed and trimmed - of course!!

Megan has had many achievements in the show ring this year (2010) but for me the most memorable was the first “Bojangels Best of Breed”  at the show in Aurillac where she also went on to win 2nd in group 8.  I am so proud of her and am not embarrassed to say that a few tears were shed that day!

We do not know what 2011 has in store for us but Megan really enjoys going out to the shows so we will continue to take her and fingers crossed we might have some good results.

You can see more of Megan’s show results on the Results page.
